About the Role

As an Engineering Team Leader, you will lead and further develop the cross-functional Data, API & Quality domain. You combine human-centered leadership with a strong affinity for technology and processes. As a key link between employees, functional managers, business stakeholders, and IT teams, you will foster collaboration, progress, and innovation within the domain.
Responsibilities
Leadership and Team Development
- Coach, support, and grow the employees in the cross-functional domain.
- Stimulate collaboration between different teams and other departments in the organization.
- Create an inspiring work environment that encourages innovation, entrepreneurship, and empowerment.
- Support Functional Leads in achieving their objectives.
Coordination and Monitoring
- Maintain an overview of all ongoing projects, initiatives, and priorities within the domain.
- Ensure rigorous monitoring of pending actions, incidents, risks, and improvement initiatives.
- Ensure a structured and planned approach to domain activities.
- Monitor project progress and ensure good coordination between business and IT.
Analysis and Continuous Improvement
- Conduct high-level analyses and quickly understand technical situations or challenges.
- Constructively question existing work methods and solutions and propose improvement suggestions.
- Actively follow market trends and technological innovations, and transform them into opportunities for the organization.
- Actively contribute to the implementation of modern technologies and new work methods.
Stakeholder Management and Communication
- Communicate easily with various stakeholders, from technical IT profiles to business and commercial colleagues.
- Present complex topics clearly and convincingly to different audiences.
- Diplomatically manage differing interests and organizational sensitivities.
- Bridge the gap between business and technology to ensure optimal collaboration.
