About the Position
East Europe Foundation, in collaboration with the Swiss-Ukrainian “E-governance for Accountability and Participation” (EGAP) program, is announcing a competition for the position of an English-speaking writer. This role is part-time and can be performed online or in a hybrid format.
Responsibilities
- Prepare articles, press releases, and various communication materials showcasing the key activities of the EGAP program.
- Propose themes of East Europe Foundation and EGAP program to Ukrainian and international media.
- Accompany Ukrainian and international mass media in the creation of communication materials.
- Prepare abstracts for speeches and presentations by representatives of East Europe Foundation and the Embassy of Switzerland in Ukraine.
- Prepare content for social networks – Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram.
- Gather success stories, interview users of our services, and publish content on the websites of the EGAP Program and East Europe Foundation.
- Assign tasks to the designer for the preparation of visuals for communication materials.
- Edit and proofread English-language materials of the EGAP Program.
- Perform other tasks assigned by the communication manager.
Requirements
- High level of proficiency in English (not lower than level C1).
- Proficiency in the Ukrainian language.
- Strong writing ability in English.
- Experience in a similar position of three or more years.
- Sufficient grammar skills and attention to detail.
- Interest in gathering, analyzing, and structuring information and performing tasks in compliance with deadlines.
- Experience in communications in IT, in the public or government sector, will be considered an advantage.
