About the Position
We're looking for an Enterprise Artificial Intelligence Architect to join our team in Barcelona, Spain, in a remote working mode.
The Enterprise Artificial Intelligence Architect will play a key role in enabling AI product development across multiple cloud platforms, including AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure. This role focuses on AI security, platforms, and solutions, partnering with Business Technology Group teams, R&D, AI governance, and regional data offices.
The architect will integrate large language models and agentic AI into business processes, leveraging Python and data manipulation tools to translate business requirements into generative AI solutions that deliver measurable results.
Responsibilities
- Design enterprise AI architectures covering AI/ML foundations, NLP, agentic AI, platforms, and infrastructure
- Integrate large language models and agentic AI into business processes to deliver measurable outcomes
- Translate business requirements into generative AI solutions using Python and data manipulation tools
- Provide architecture designs, patterns, reference frameworks, and consulting services for AI initiatives
- Partner with Business Technology Group teams, R&D, AI governance, and regional data offices to align AI strategies
- Define and deliver AI products aligned with enterprise AI platforms and FAIR AI principles
- Support the development of global AI infrastructure to enable pharmaceutical innovation and drug discovery
- Ensure AI solutions adhere to security, compliance, and sustainability standards
- Contribute to knowledge management and best practices for enterprise AI adoption
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation in AI architecture and delivery models
Requirements
- Extensive experience in enterprise architecture with a focus on AI/ML solutions and platforms
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms including AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure
- Proficiency in Python and data manipulation tools for AI solution development
- Experience with large language models, NLP, and agentic AI integration
- Familiarity with AI security, governance, and compliance frameworks
- Ability to design and implement AI architectures, patterns, and reference frameworks
- Strong consulting and stakeholder management skills across global teams
- Understanding of FAIR AI principles and sustainable AI delivery methodologies
- Background in pharmaceutical or life sciences industry is an advantage
- Relevant certifications in AI, cloud architecture, or enterprise architecture are desirable
