Enterprise Solution Architect

About the Position

We are looking for an experienced Enterprise Solution Architect to lead complex enterprise transformation initiatives involving hybrid cloud, multi-cloud, on-premises infrastructure, application modernisation, and large-scale migration programs, including migration of distributed inference. The role will be responsible for assessing current state, business objectives, designing target-state architectures, and leading the migration of mission-critical applications, workloads, databases, data platforms, and infrastructure across on-premises environments and cloud platforms (Neoclouds, AWS, Microsoft Azure, GCP, OCI). Solution Architect will partner with business and technology stakeholders to define transformation roadmaps, establish governance frameworks, mitigate migration risks, and ensure successful program delivery.

This position requires deep expertise in enterprise infrastructure, platform engineering, hybrid architectures, AI workload migrations, data platforms, security, and operational transformation within large, complex organisations.

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise target-state architectures across hybrid cloud, multi-cloud, and on-premises environments.
• Develop migration strategies, transformation roadmaps, and reference architectures.
• Establish architecture governance and technology standards.
• Drive infrastructure, application, and data modernisation initiatives.
• Lead assessments of existing environments and dependency mapping.
• Design scalable, secure, and resilient on-prem and hybrid solutions.
• Define networking, identity, security, monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery architectures.
• Establish Infrastructure as Code and automation standards.
• Assess enterprise application portfolios and determine optimal migration approaches.
• Guide application modernisation and platform engineering efforts.
• Define replication, synchronisation, and cutover strategies.
• Ensure high availability, performance, security, and data integrity throughout migration programmes.
• Design modern data architecture supporting AI and business intelligence workloads.
• Provide architectural oversight throughout program delivery.
• Evaluate distributed inference and AI platform deployment strategies across cloud, hybrid, and on-prem environments.
• Define scalable AI infrastructure patterns leveraging Kubernetes and platform services.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in Solution Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure Architecture, or related roles.
• Proven experience leading large-scale enterprise migration and modernisation programmes.
• Strong background in hybrid cloud and multi-cloud architecture.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise datacentres, cloud platforms, and distributed systems.
• Experience delivering transformation initiatives involving infrastructure, applications, databases, and data platforms.
• Infrastructure and Platform Engineering.
• Security Architecture and Governance.
• Enterprise workload modernisation.
• Data platform migration and modernisation initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder management and consulting skills.
• Experience supporting pre-sales activities, solution design workshops, and RFP responses.
• Ability to engage executive stakeholders and translate business objectives into technical solutions.
