Enterprise Solutions Engineer

Box Japan is seeking an Enterprise Solutions Engineer to drive content and AI utilization in Japan. This role involves understanding business challenges and connecting Box's platform value to business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Engage with enterprise customers' management, IT, and operational teams to understand their challenges and success metrics.
• Design and demonstrate use cases including Box AI, AI Agents, AI Studio, search/deep research, data extraction, and workflow automation.
• Design and support integration with business applications such as Microsoft 365/Teams, Salesforce, Google Workspace, Slack, ServiceNow, and custom applications.
• Provide proposals aligned with enterprise security and governance requirements such as content classification, access control, threat mitigation, auditing, and data residency.
• Lead account teams including sales, CSM, consultants, and partners to plan and execute from implementation to adoption, utilization, and expansion.
• Utilize developer features like APIs, SDKs, and MCP to integrate Box into customers' business and AI infrastructure.

Requirements

• 5+ years of IT industry experience with at least 2 years in pre-sales, solution architecture, IT consulting, or project management.
• Practical knowledge in cloud, SaaS, infrastructure, applications, data, or security.
• Ability to structure ambiguous customer challenges and develop value hypotheses, technical architecture, and implementation steps.
• Knowledge or strong interest in APIs, OAuth/SSO, SaaS integration, workflow automation, generative AI/AI agents.
• Experience in proposing to large companies, forming agreements with multiple stakeholders, or collaborating with partners/alliances.
• Fluent Japanese and readable English proficiency.
