Box Japan is at a pivotal stage in enhancing content and AI utilization for Japanese enterprises. The Enterprise Solutions Engineer will be a technical partner who understands business, IT, and operational challenges, and connects Box's platform value to business outcomes.

Responsible for major private enterprises in Western Japan (with over 2000 employees), the Enterprise Solutions Engineer will:

Conduct demos, workshops, and technical discussions related to business and operational challenges
Lead PoC, pilot projects, architecture design, and value validation
Respond to RFPs, support security and compliance audits, and assist with AI governance
Communicate customer feedback to product management and engineering to drive improvements

What You'll Do

Engage with enterprise clients' management, IT, operations, and partners to identify challenges and success metrics, and provide technical insights and proposals
Design use cases including Box AI, AI agents, AI Studio, search/deep research, data extraction, and workflow automation, and incorporate them into demos, workshops, proposal materials, and presentations
Design and support integration with business applications such as Microsoft 365/Teams, Salesforce, Google Workspace, Slack, ServiceNow, and custom customer applications
Provide proposals aligned with enterprise security and governance requirements, including content classification, access control, threat mitigation, auditing, and data residency
Lead account teams with account executives, CSMs, consultants, and partners to plan and execute from implementation through adoption, utilization, and expansion
Utilize developer tools such as APIs, SDKs, and MCP to integrate Box into customers' business and AI infrastructure

Who You Are

We are an "AI-first" company.

5+ years of experience in the IT industry, with at least 2 years in presales, solution architecture, IT consulting, or project management
Practical knowledge in cloud, SaaS, infrastructure, applications, data, or security
Ability to structure ambiguous customer challenges, and independently develop value hypotheses, technical architectures, and implementation steps
Knowledge or strong interest in APIs, OAuth/SSO, SaaS integration, workflow automation, generative AI/AI agents
Experience in proposing to major companies, forming agreements with multiple stakeholders, or collaborating with partners/alliances
Fluent Japanese (business-usable level)
English proficiency at a readable and writable level
