About the Position
Environmental, Health, & Safety Intern
ZF Axle Drives Marysville, LLC. is seeking a motivated Environmental, Health, & Safety (EHS) Intern to join our team in Marysville, MI. This immediate-start internship offers current students a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment while contributing to a safe workplace.
Responsibilities
As an EHS Intern, you will:
- Maintain records required for compliance and training.
- Track completion of Safety Alerts.
- Attend weekly Safety Committee Meetings.
- Assist in conducting assessments (ergonomic, hearing, PPE, annual hands-on LOTO checks).
- Participate in the Safety Culture Improvement Program.
- Attend Ergonomic Team Meetings and become competent in performing ergonomic assessments.
- Participate in training for new hire orientation, program updates, and as needed. Assist in entering training completion into the database.
- Participate in all EHS sponsored events.
Requirements
- Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
- Strong computer skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
