About the Position
Are you an experienced Hardware Engineer looking for your next challenge? Do you want to play a key role in strengthening our Controls Engineering Team? If so, we’re looking for you!
As a Senior Hardware Engineer, you will be at the heart of our engineering process - designing, configuring, and communicating innovative hardware control solutions. These solutions are essential to our customers, and critical to our production and installation operations.
Your output will include high-quality designs and Bills of Materials that not only meet the project requirements but also align with our engineering standards.
Responsibilities
- Independently design and configure hardware control systems for development and customer projects.
- Create and maintain detailed Bill of Materials (BoMs) and design documentation.
- Ensure smooth execution of engineering tasks, identifying and solving deviations as they arise.
- Work in line with project planning, collaborating with internal teams to meet deadlines.
- Take ownership of your discipline throughout the project lifecycle - from concept to successful start-up.
- Provide clear, timely project updates, and be flexible in time and location to support project needs.
Requirements
- A degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of experience in a hardware engineering role, preferably in an industrial or automation setting.
- Strong understanding of control systems design and hardware component selection.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- A proactive, flexible, and hands-on approach to engineering challenges.
