We are seeking an experienced ERP Project Manager for a manufacturing divestiture project in Rome, Italy. This role requires strong project management skills and financial acumen.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project management of divestiture initiatives, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets specific to divestiture activities.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including legal, finance, operations, HR, IT, and external consultants/advisors.
- Manage due diligence processes, data room preparation, and information requests.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to divestiture transactions.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and corporate governance requirements.
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Facilitate integration or separation activities post-divestiture.
- Drive continuous improvement in divestiture project methodologies and tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or related field; MBA or relevant certification (PMP, PMI-ACP) preferred.
- Proven experience (typically 5+ years) managing divestiture or M&A-related projects.
- Strong understanding of divestiture processes, including legal, financial, and operational considerations.
- Excellent project management skills with proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, JIRA).
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Nice to Have
- Experience in animal health BIO/Pharma.
- Familiarity with regulatory environments relevant to divestitures.
- Team management experience.
- Change management experience.
