About the Position
Estimator II
- Location: San Antonio, Texas
- Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 per year

Responsibilities
- Review project plans, specifications, and construction documents to determine project scope
- Perform quantity takeoffs for commercial HVAC and plumbing systems
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors
- Solicit and evaluate bids from suppliers and subcontractors
- Create RFIs and assess cost and schedule impacts
- Review project addendums and incorporate changes into estimates
- Analyze project schedules and identify equipment lead-time risks
- Identify project risks and potential cost-saving opportunities
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, clients, suppliers, and design teams
- Maintain estimating databases and current pricing information
- Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits when required
- Ensure all estimates comply with local codes, regulations, and construction standards
- Manage multiple commercial construction bids simultaneously while meeting deadlines
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of HVAC and plumbing estimating experience
- Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC and plumbing construction methods, materials, and building codes
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings
- Experience with estimating software such as Trimble, Procore, PlanSwift, Bluebeam, or similar platforms
- Proficiency with Building Connected, Procore, and Microsoft Office
- Understanding of construction scheduling and project management processes
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work with suppliers, owners, and design teams
- Strong mathematical, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Science, Engineering, Architecture, or related field
- Ability to pass a drug screening
- Ability to verify U.S. employment eligibility

- Full-time exempt position
- Monday through Friday schedule
