The EU-Startups team is currently looking for an Event Manager to join us long-term and to support with the organisation of next year's EU-Startups Summit, as well as other events.

As Event Manager at EU-Startups, you’ll play a crucial role in sales, project management, and event communication and hands-on support for all aspects related to our annual flagship event, the EU-Startups Summit, which will gather 2,500 attendees on May 7-8, 2025, in Malta.

In this role you'll be working closely with our Events & Partnerships Director, our CEO, and with other team members on tasks that are focused on Sponsorship/Exhibition Sales, updating our Sales CRM, Event Communication/Management, Lead Generation initiatives, Speaker Relations, Ticket Sales and Marketing initiatives and to other event-related tasks. As part of this role (full-time, 40h per week) you will be with us in the office on 4 or 5 days per week.

We're looking for a motivated Event Manager who is interested in startups, events, and media, has very good English skills, and lives in Barcelona. Ideally, you also have design skills (Canva, Photoshop, etc.), prior experience in sales/marketing, and some experience in event organisation.

Requirements

• Very good English skills
• Prior experience in sales/marketing
