Events play a central role in the marketing strategy of epilot. Over the years, we have developed numerous event formats that grow with our company annually, such as our Community Convention or User Day. We bring people together to drive the energy transition and ignite enthusiasm for our platform. All events primarily serve community building but also contribute to our pipeline and revenue. Responsibilities
What you can expect
- End-to-end responsibility for our existing customer events such as online conferences, trade fair appearances, and customer events: from goal setting and conception through execution to success measurement. Together with other teams, you will further develop our ROI tracking, with HubSpot as the single point of truth.
- You increase our reach with target group-appropriate communication via email, LinkedIn, and landing pages, and regularly break new participant and pipeline records.
- In close coordination with Sales and Customer Success, you recognize which formats are currently needed and develop innovative event ideas in line with our brand and company goals.
- You immerse yourself in the energy industry, recognize trends, and turn them into compelling content and speaker concepts.
- With creative sponsorship and partner concepts, you unlock the monetization potential of our events. You negotiate confidently with external service providers to ensure quality and keep costs efficient.
- On-site, you ensure with activating measures and attention to detail that our events inspire and remain memorable.
- You set up scalable standard processes, prepare decision templates for management, and keep internal and external stakeholders proactively informed.
Requirements
What you bring
- Several years of experience in event management, ideally in a dynamic environment with flat hierarchies, a lot of personal responsibility, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
- You present yourself confidently and remain calm even in stressful moments. Improvisation is a challenge for you rather than an obstacle.
- Confident in dealing with stakeholders up to the C-level, you convince with strong communication skills and enthusiasm. At large networking events, you are in the thick of things.
- Organization is your superpower: you structure complex processes, prioritize clearly, and manage multiple events in parallel.
- You roll up your sleeves and get involved, even at evening events or trade fairs outside regular working hours. A Class B driver's license is required.
- Fluent in German and English, as English is the corporate language in our diverse, international team.
- You live in Cologne or the surrounding area and like to come to the office, especially for Marketing Monday. Home office is possible flexibly, but personal exchange is important to us, and many events take place in Cologne anyway.
- An entrepreneurial mindset - you understand our business goals and how your daily decisions influence them.
- You are a TEAM player, motivate and inspire your colleagues, and want to make a difference.
