About the Position

RIEDEL Communications is the leading provider of live production tools in the media, sports, and entertainment sectors. To comprehensively meet the needs of our clients, we are divided into three business areas: Product Division, Managed Technology, and Riedel Networks!

Our Managed Technology division rents out our audio, video, IT, and communication solutions for international live events and offers comprehensive service from project planning to on-site implementation. This includes not only festivals like Rock am Ring or sports events like Formula 1 or the Super Bowl, but also ensuring a goosebump experience for all guests.

Responsibilities

You plan and support projects in the field of event and broadcast technology in Wuppertal and worldwide – from the first idea to implementation.
You install and maintain analog and digital radio systems, communication systems, and camera systems on-site.
You set up wireless and wired communication systems and maintain smaller IT systems.
You detect errors at the component level and troubleshoot issues – both in Wuppertal and directly at the customer's site.
You document events and ensure that all processes run smoothly.

Requirements

Completed technical training, e.g., as a mechatronics technician, event technology technician, electronics technician for devices & systems, IT technician, or communications electronics technician.
Enthusiasm for technology, especially radio, intercom, audio, and IT systems.
Initial experience in event or broadcast technology or the motivation to get into these areas.
International travel readiness, flexibility, and enjoyment of changing assignments at events.
Good German and English skills for working with customers and international teams.
Driver's license class B.
Forklift license / IPAF is desirable.
