Exalate Cloud Developer

About the Position

Exalate is an innovative integration platform that allows the creation of synchronization bridges between different work management systems. Our unique single-tenant distributed nature and customized synchronization engine make us a solution that can implement a wide array of integration scenarios.

We are currently seeking a skilled Exalate Cloud Developer to join our team. This role is fully remote, and you will be responsible for defining and implementing the roadmap for Exalate Cloud in close cooperation with the entire Exalate team. Additionally, you will handle critical or blocking issues that require advanced technical knowledge of how the cluster operates.

Responsibilities

• Exalate Cloud Development: Define and implement the roadmap for the further development of Exalate Cloud. This includes building scalability over multiple clusters, node migration, audit logging, and introducing EDR technologies on the compute engine and pods.
• Exalate Cloud Critical Operations: Support Exalate Cloud through three tiers of support (Level 1, Level 2, Level 3). Handle critical escalations, maintain the cluster, intervene in case of severe performance issues, and ensure all security controls are fully functional. Coach L2 and L1 cloud engineers about the technologies in use.

Requirements

• Expertise in open-source technologies such as Terraform, Google Cloud, Cloud Networking, Traefik, Kubernetes, Python, Django, Linux, Docker, etc.
• Top 15% overall StackOverflow reputation due to your ability to communicate and provide clear and concise answers to technical challenges.
• Ability to work independently and drive a request to delivery by engaging with the team, finding workarounds in case of speed bumps. Keep it simple and effective is your mantra.
• Avoidance of shortcuts in the code, understanding that they will come back to bite.
• Responsibility for the quality of your work and appreciation for the contribution of your quality control colleagues.
• Automation of any repeating tasks by default.
• Security is key in everything you do.
