The Crown Is Yours

As an Executive Assistant to the Chief Legal Officer, you'll focus on keeping complex schedules, priorities, and communications moving seamlessly. You'll act as a trusted partner to your executive, anticipating needs, coordinating across teams, and managing sensitive information with care. This role sits at the center of a fast-paced, results-driven environment where priorities shift quickly and precision matters. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, executive presence, and the ability to build trust across executive leadership and key partners. Your ability to balance competing demands while exercising sound judgment helps executives stay focused on what matters most.

Responsibilities

  • Own and optimize highly complex, fluid calendars for the Chief Legal Officer and a subset of their direct reports, balancing competing priorities, shifting business needs, and requests from multiple senior stakeholders.
  • Exercise sound judgment in evaluating and triaging meeting requests, resolving scheduling conflicts, and protecting executive time for the highest-impact priorities.
  • Partner closely with your executive to gather information, provide critical updates, and stay aligned on priorities across meetings and projects.
  • Respond to a wide range of requests for information and executive action, driving timely and thoughtful follow-through on action items, deadlines, and recurring business processes.
  • Coordinate travel, expenses, and other executive logistics with a high degree of accuracy and responsiveness.
  • Provide occasional backup administrative support for the executive’s direct reports to ensure continuity across the team and cross-functional leadership.
  • Build strong relationships across the organization while handling confidential information with diplomacy, discretion, and sound judgment.
  • Provide support on special projects and other executive-adjacent work as business needs evolve.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field.
  • At least five years of experience supporting senior executives in a busy, high-growth, and fast-paced environment, with experience supporting C-level leaders strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success managing highly complex executive calendars involving competing priorities, multiple stakeholders, and frequent changes.
  • Experience with budget tracking, invoice processing, expense management, and other administrative support tied to departmental operations.
  • Experience supporting executive operating rhythms such as leadership meetings, quarterly business reviews, board-facing preparation, or similar high-visibility forums.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with polished executive presence and the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • High attention to detail, strong follow-through, and a proactive, solutions-oriented approach with the ability to stay ahead of needs, take ownership, and confidently navigate unexpected challenges.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with working knowledge of video conferencing tools such as Zoom.
  • Ideal candidate with experience working within a Legal department, law firm, or within a highly regulated context and is able to bring familiarity and expertise to these operating rhythms and norms.

We Offer

  • Competitive salary range of USD 81,600.00 - 122,400.00 per year, plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
  • Comprehensive health benefits, including medical, dental, and vision plans.
  • Free access to programs such as free therapy sessions with Lyra Mental Health Solution, Lyra Employee Assistance Program, the Calm App, Virtual Yoga Classes, and more.
  • 14 weeks of 100% paid parental leave and workplace lactation support.
  • Pet insurance to help save on vet expenses.
  • Gym reimbursement once you enroll in a health insurance plan.
  • Financial planning assistance, including 401(k) matching and programs such as Origin Financial.
  • Commuter benefits to help lower costs on your daily commute.
  • Tuition reimbursement for educational courses related to your position or another position at DraftKings.
