THE ROLE INVOLVES:

Our partner is expanding its engineering capability, so we are looking for an Experienced Angular Engineer to support the evolution of their global Client Portal.

In this role, you will focus exclusively on the Client Portal, a key product used daily by over 400 corporate clients worldwide to manage payment instructions, settlement instructions, and other critical workflows.

This assignment is focused on migrating the Client Portal from its current architecture and design to a new, improved setup.

Responsibilities

• Write clean and maintainable Angular and TypeScript code.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams like back-end developers and product managers to implement feature enhancements.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues promptly to maintain operational effectiveness.
• Test code rigorously and update existing test cases to ensure robustness.
• Document code, procedures, and project milestones to maintain organizational transparency.

Requirements

• 3+ years of software development experience with Angular
• Experience working with source control systems such as Git
• Experience consuming and integrating RESTful APIs using TypeScript
• Experience writing unit tests and applying software quality best practices
• Understanding of relational database concepts and how web applications interact with databases such as PostgreSQL or Oracle
• Familiarity with Kafka and event-driven architectures
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker

Nice to Have

• Awareness of critical concepts in DevOps and Agile principles
• Ability to keep up with software and cloud development trends and innovation
• Understanding of financial services and risk management in general
• University degree in Computer Science/Engineering

• Fluent English, with good written and verbal communication skills
• Strong engineering instinct (do the right thing), a deep understanding of computer science
• Strong interpersonal and assertive communication skills, great team member
