Expert SAP Developer (Online Validation Framework)

About the Position

We are seeking an Expert SAP Developer (Online Validation Framework) to join our team. The role involves maintaining and extending the Online Validation Framework, supporting Baltics countries localization, and delivering tasks independently within the agreed timeline.

About the Role

The project covers two areas: implementation of new features and maintenance of the Online Validation Framework, and support of Baltics countries localization. The primary scope is maintenance and extension of the Online Validation Framework and its individual validations (VIES and PL VAT Payers). Deliverables are required on S/4HANA Public Cloud, Private Cloud, and ECC.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and extend existing validations and Framework solutions across all layers - ABAP, iFlow, and Java.
• Implement new features for the Online Validation Framework.
• Support Baltics countries localization within the framework.
• Integrate the Online Validation Framework into the Statutory Reporting set-up agent.
• Prepare design documents for new and changed functionality.
• Create test automations for validation scenarios.
• Conduct manual testing to verify framework behavior.
• Downport necessary developments to lower releases.

Requirements

Must-Have (Non-Negotiable)

• Experience: 6+ years of professional software development.
• Language: Professional fluency in English (B2+). Able to work independently, prepare documentation, and communicate with the SAP team.
• Technical Stack:
  • Strong hands-on experience with ABAP development on S/4HANA (Public Cloud, Private Cloud, and ECC).
  • Experience with SAP Integration Suite / iFlow (Cloud Integration) development and configuration.
  • Working knowledge of Java in the context of SAP solutions.
  • Online Validation Framework: Strong knowledge of the framework, its architecture, and individual validations (e.g., VIES, PL VAT Payers).
  • Testing: Experience creating test automations and performing manual testing in SAP environments.
  • Design Documentation: Ability to prepare clear technical design documents.
  • Downporting: Experience with downporting developments across SAP release lines.

Nice-to-Have (Priority Selection)

• Statutory Reporting: Experience with SAP Statutory Reporting or related localization frameworks.
• Baltics Localisation: Familiarity with VAT or tax localization requirements for Baltic countries (Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia).
• Multi-Deployment Experience: Hands-on work across multiple S/4HANA deployment models (Public Cloud, Private Cloud, and ECC) within the same project.
