British American Tobacco****Indonesia has an exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain Optimization Manager in Malang!

Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborate with procurement, R&D, and suppliers to set up Indo COO supply chains.
  • Contribute to the supply strategy and influence the commercial terms between each tier/layer of the suppliers to bring resilience and agility into the supply network design.
  • Enable optimal stock holding policy and supply chain time balance.
  • Design in supply chain operational cost and liability (working capital in external supply chain).
  • Regularly review and improve supply performance with the SBR & QBR platform.
  • Conduct supplier CFA and maintain supplier capability/system/performance metrics compliance.
  • Implement global supply chain assessment tool in PLM NPD cycles.
  • Collaborate with procurement, R&D, Ops, and suppliers to enable supply chain risk exposure in each stage gates and drive readiness.
  • Translate PLM insights into BAU planning systems adjustment and wow continuous improvement.
  • Manage product launch materials authorizations with ECN risks control.
  • Ensure OTIF NPD delivery with minimal NCL exposure from SC perspective.
  • Collaborate closely with internal customers (UK/US) in S&OP process.
  • Inject high standard RP, MPS, MRP and PAC capability in T1 - T3 suppliers and streamline the workflow with D&I/DRP team from internal customer.
  • Monitor and review the external supply chain RCCP, stock holding, RRP, planning & scheduling execution with tailored metrics.
  • Lead/attend DDS/WDS/MDS drumbeats to review the supply performance indicators and drive RCA and CaPA for CI.
  • Actively work through supplier project team to ensure NPI/ECN/capacity expansion projects delivery OTIF.
  • Strive for supply chain excellence from cost, cash, and service perspectives.

Requirements

  • A degree (or Master’s) in Supply Chain, Engineering, Sciences, or Data/Analytics; APICS or similar certifications are a plus.
  • 5–10 years in end-to-end supply chain planning and NPD integration, with strong exposure to PLM stage-gates, ERP systems, and proven capability in supply chain design. Ops finance and/or direct procurement experience is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes (Source, Make, Deliver), with a track record of improving flow, efficiency, and performance.
  • Strong analytical capability, including Excel (macros) and Power BI, with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
  • Proven problem-solving and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and suppliers to deliver OTIF targets; fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
