Responsibilities
- Quality and Compliance Oversight: Oversee the quality and compliance of drug products and finished drug products at CMOs.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including business operations, analytical science, process development, and supply chain.
- Quality Management: Serve as the main quality point of contact and approver for deviations, change controls, CAPAs, and batch disposition.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure GMP compliance and prepare for regulatory inspections and audits.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks at CMOs or testing laboratories and escalate when necessary.
- Project Management: Oversee multiple projects simultaneously and manage workload to timelines.
- Relationship Management: Develop strong partnerships with CMOs and testing labs.
Requirements
- Education: Doctorate degree OR Master’s degree with 2 years of experience OR Bachelor’s degree with 4 years of experience OR Associate’s degree with 10 years of experience OR High school diploma with 12 years of experience.
- Experience: 4+ years of quality and manufacturing experience in biotech or pharmaceutical industry.
- Skills:
- cGMP Experience
- Ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously
- Familiarity with basic project management tools
- Ability to negotiate and deliver high-quality results
- Ability to operate in a matrixed or team environment
- Ability to manage diverse relationships
- Ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams
- Understanding of applicable manufacturing/testing processes
Nice to Have
- Ability to travel +/- 20% of time to domestic and international Amgen/External sites
