EY-Parthenon - Manager - Transactions and Corporate Finance - Transaction Diligence

Location: Perth, Australia

The opportunity

Our Financial Due Diligence team works at the heart of complex transactions, supporting domestic and cross-border deals across a broad range of sectors.

As a Manager, you will lead key aspects of buy-side and sell-side engagements, manage client relationships, supervise and coach junior team members, and play an active role in the growth of our Perth and national practice. This is a hybrid role based in Boorloo (Perth), offering exposure to national and international transactions while being part of a close-knit local team.

Responsibilities

  • Lead financial due diligence engagements across buy-side and sell-side transactions, delivering quality of earnings, working capital, net debt, and cash flow analyses that support investment decisions.
  • Manage client relationships and stakeholder interactions, presenting key findings, identifying commercial risks and opportunities, and providing insights throughout the transaction lifecycle.
  • Lead engagement teams and multiple concurrent workstreams, ensuring high-quality delivery, effective project management, and strong commercial outcomes.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across Strategy, Tax, M&A, Valuations, and Modelling to provide integrated transaction advice for private equity and corporate clients.
  • Coach and develop junior team members while contributing to business development activities and the continued growth of the Perth and national Financial Due Diligence practice.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years' experience in Financial Due Diligence / Transaction Services, including a minimum of 12 months operating at Manager level within a Big Four, mid-tier advisory, or consulting firm.
  • Strong technical expertise across quality of earnings, net debt, working capital, cash flow analysis, and broader transaction advisory services.
  • Demonstrated experience leading due diligence engagements, managing client relationships, and delivering insights to support investment and transaction decisions.
  • CA, CPA, or equivalent professional qualification, supported by a degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Strong commercial acumen, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with a proven ability to lead teams, mentor junior professionals, and thrive in fast-paced deal environments.
