Responsibilities

• Evaluate financial, accounting, and fundamental data to extract actionable insights using suitable analytical methods.
• Conduct industry and equity research and analyze information obtained from various channels.
• Conduct valuation analyses for a range of purposes, such as financial reporting, strategic management planning, risk management, M&A, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Develop and analyze complex financial models and perform financial analyses and provide actionable insights to clients.
• Appraise company or asset values (financial instruments, property, and other fixed assets) by building a model from scratch.
• Develop presentations and proposals tailored for internal and external events, including prospective client engagements and business development opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor/master’s degree holder in Quantitative Finance, Financial Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Actuarial Science, statistics, or Business Administration with quantitative aptitude is preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in the fields of financial modeling and valuation, including financial instrument valuation, real estate investment and appraisal, fixed assets valuation, market risk analysis, or programming on VBA or Python.
• Holding or currently studying professional qualifications such as CFA or FRM is preferred.
• Strong analytical and logical thinking abilities.
• Ability to develop financial models that meet market standards from scratch and present analysis in a clear and logical manner to clients.
• Strong sense of ownership and commitment to deliver high quality of work.
• Self-driven initiatives and willingness to accept challenges with positive energy.
• Effective communication skills in both spoken and written English and Chinese (both Cantonese and Mandarin).
• Strong Microsoft, Excel, and PowerPoint knowledge and good report-writing skills.
