About the Position

Fabric Data Engineer (Eindhoven)

Join Xebia as a Fabric Data Engineer in Eindhoven, where you'll help clients adopt Microsoft Fabric with best practices and scalable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable data pipelines and lakehouses in Microsoft Fabric.
• Implement CI/CD practices for reproducible deployments.
• Define best practices for data engineering within the Fabric ecosystem.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide expert guidance.
• Stay curious and keep an eye on the broader data ecosystem, including Azure, AWS, GCP, Spark, Terraform, dbt, and Airflow.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of relevant Data Engineering experience.
• At least 1 year of experience working with Microsoft Fabric.
• Hands-on experience with software engineering fundamentals like version control, testing, CI/CD, and code review.
• Ability to think about scale and handle challenges that come with growing data volumes, team sizes, and complexity.
• Experience with or interest in other cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and tools such as Spark, Terraform, dbt, or Airflow.
