Facilities Manager
Location: San Antonio, Texas
Salary: $65,000 per year

Responsibilities
- Report to the Director of Operations: Take ownership of the company’s fixed assets, including facilities, fleet, tools, inventory, and purchasing.
- Supervise and Develop: Hire, onboard, schedule, coach, and provide performance feedback to a Warehouse Clerk.
- Establish Standards: Create clear written standards for vehicle cleanliness, organization, inventory, and tool management.
- Audit Compliance: Conduct and document regular fleet and tool compliance audits.
- Address Issues: Directly and professionally address missed standards, escalating serious issues to the appropriate managers.
- Facility Management: Maintain a clean, safe, efficient, and professional facility while minimizing asset costs and operational downtime.
- Shipping and Receiving: Oversee company shipping and receiving, ensuring appropriate team members are notified of incoming packages.
- Safety and Maintenance: Ensure facilities follow safety standards and cleaning procedures. Partner with the Director of Operations on maintenance planning.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with departments to resolve facility issues efficiently and professionally.
- Fleet Management: Partner with Service Managers to maintain company fleet assets, documentation, maintenance, GPS systems, and camera installations.
- Inventory Control: Perform routine fleet inspections, maintain accurate tool and asset records, and manage purchase orders and inventory.
- Vendor Management: Maintain accurate vendor pricing and manage vendor-managed inventory.
Requirements
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in facilities management, fleet management, asset management, or a related role with leadership and accountability responsibilities.
- Skills:
- Facilities and inventory management experience
- Experience with purchasing, vendor management, and parts or inventory management systems
- Ability to establish standards and hold team members accountable
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Proactive problem-solving skills
- Forklift certification or previous forklift experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Strong time management and multitasking abilities
- Ability to read technical manuals and equipment documentation
- Coaching and performance-feedback skills
- Ability to consistently lift 25 to 50 pounds
- Preferred Skills:
- HVAC and plumbing industry knowledge
- Experience with ServiceTitan or similar field service management software
