Facilities Technician – Data Center Infrastructure Support

We are currently seeking a Facilities Technician – Data Center Infrastructure Support to join our team in Portugal. This role will contribute to the implementation projects, operational activities, and service continuity of our Data Centers (CPDs).

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and operational activities of the infrastructure team.
• Collaborate with internal technical teams to ensure efficient delivery of infrastructure initiatives.
• Contribute to meeting service level targets for Data Center support equipment.
• Support infrastructure improvement projects and investment initiatives.
• Participate in technical studies, testing activities, and pilot implementations.
• Monitor support systems, assisting with capacity and change management activities.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation.
• Perform installation activities, including rack-mounted equipment installation and cabling (Fiber Channel, UTP, and power).

Requirements

• 12th Grade education or vocational qualification in Electrotechnics or Information Technology.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar technical role.
• Intermediate Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
• Professional working proficiency in Portuguese and English.
• Valid driving license.
• Availability for flexible working hours when required.
• Availability to participate in an on-call support.
• Strong sense of responsibility and safety awareness.
• Attention to detail, teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work autonomously.
• Experience supporting Data Center environments.
• Experience contributing to infrastructure projects and technical pilots.

We Offer

• Competitive salary: EUR 1300 - EUR 1500 per month.
• Full-time position.
