Job description
About the Position
We are seeking a communications specialist to enhance and elevate our organization's communication and transform analytical content into understandable and engaging formats for a wide audience.
What we already have: an established base of media partnerships, social media channels with an audience, a regular flow of analytical content (legislative digest, monitoring of decisions by the Verkhovna Rada and the CMU, columns, research) and a team of analysts ready to collaborate. You do not need to build everything from scratch – you need to restore and bring it to a new level of systematization.
Format of cooperation: until the end of 2026 with the possibility of extension.
Our Successful Candidate:
- has experience in organizational, media, or project communication – including working with editorial offices and journalists;
- can adapt complex analytical, political, or legal content for a wide audience without losing content;
- has experience in developing media partnerships: preparing materials, supporting comments and interviews of speakers, working with a contact database;
- understands the basic principles of government institutions and local self-government bodies or is ready to quickly immerse in these topics;
- can write simply, accurately, and interestingly;
- is proficient in SMM tools: planning publications, reach analytics, working with audiences;
- has basic skills in working with visual content (Canva, photos);
- can organize their own work, work with a content plan, and meet deadlines;
- is attentive to facts, formulations, and details;
- offers new formats and is ready to test new approaches to communication.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain media partnerships: work with the existing contact base, prepare materials, support comments and interviews of the Center's speakers;
- Adapt the analytical products of the Center for media and social networks – including legislative digests, monitoring of decisions by the Verkhovna Rada and the CMU, columns, and research;
- Systematically manage the Center's social networks: content plan, publications, visual materials, analytics of results;
- Promote content about communities, local initiatives, and regional research, selecting appropriate media formats;
- Interact with the Center's analysts to receive materials in a timely manner and determine the best format for their presentation;
- Coordinate the work of involved designers and freelancers for visual content;
- Maintain a unified style and tone of the organization's communication across all channels;
- Track media mentions, reach, and other performance indicators and use them for further planning.
What We Offer
- Competitive salary.
- Continuous learning and development opportunities.
- Five-day workweek and flexible schedule.
- Comfortable working conditions in the center of Kyiv in a hybrid format.
We are waiting for your resumes and cover letters at the link until September 11, 2026. If you have any questions, write to: [email protected].
