About the Position

Fibertekniker

Axians is seeking a certified fiber technician with experience in installing and servicing fiber and copper structured cabling systems in Gothenburg. You will be working from our office in Göteborg.

You will be responsible for installation, service, and smaller projects within property networks, often in existing buildings where operations are ongoing. The assignments vary in size and require you to plan, execute, and deliver with high quality.

You are accustomed to working independently, taking responsibility for the quality of your installations, and thrive in a daily routine where the pace is sometimes high and the points of contact are many.

In this role, you will have ongoing contact with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders in the projects. As the company's face outward, it is important that you are service-oriented, communicative, and professional in your approach. For us, quality is as much a matter of how the work is carried out as how the customer experiences the delivery.

Responsibilities

• Fiber installation (welding, termination, and measurement)
• Installation of copper networks (contacting, patching, and outlets)
• Assembly of racks, cabinets, and network equipment
• Troubleshooting and remediation in existing networks
• Documentation of completed work

Requirements

• Certified fiber technician CFT
• Several years of experience in installing and servicing structured cabling systems for fiber and copper
• Self-motivated in installation and troubleshooting
• Meticulous and takes responsibility for the delivery
• Comfortable with customer contact and field work
