About the Position

Field Application Engineer-Power Supplies (on-site)

Delta, a global leader in switching power supplies and thermal management products, is seeking a Field Application Engineer in Helmond to help us grow our business in EMEA. Some of your main challenges will be:

• Identify and solve technical problems related to ACDC/DCDC power supply products and systems (both wired and wireless).
• Able to design electronics boards and mechanical casing independently.
• Provide technical and application trainings about ACDC/DCDC products to channel partners and key account customers.
• Frequently visit KA and channel partners for new project developments.
• Prepare technical documents for new applications and products.
• Report periodically on technology, industry application, and feature trends related to ACDC/DCDC products and solutions for the EMEA market.

Responsibilities

• Frequently visit key accounts and channel partners for new project developments.
• Prepare technical documents for new applications and products.
• Report periodically on technology, industry application, and feature trends related to ACDC/DCDC products and solutions for the EMEA market.

Requirements

• Min Bachelor’s degree in Power Electronics/Electronics Engineering or related field.
• Min 5 years hands-on power supply and PCB designing experience.
• Good knowledge of software like AutoCAD, Autodesk Fusion 360, SolidWorks, etc.
• Good knowledge of power supply hardware and software (PMBus, CAN) lab testing capabilities.
• Fluency in English is required, and fluency in a European language is a plus.
• In possession of a EU driving license.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills and intercultural awareness.
• Good organization, planning, analytical, and presentation skills.
