About the Position
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Field Service Support Specialist with strong expertise in PLC systems and technical support. In this role, you will be responsible for providing on-site and remote support to customers worldwide, ensuring smooth operation of automated equipment and systems. The position involves significant international travel, giving you the opportunity to work with diverse teams and cultures.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for PLC-controlled systems and equipment.
- Perform installation, commissioning, maintenance, and upgrades at customer sites worldwide.
- Diagnose issues remotely and guide customers through problem-solving processes.
- Deliver training and technical guidance to end-users and local service teams.
- Collaborate with engineering and R&D teams to report field issues and suggest improvements.
- Ensure accurate documentation of service activities and technical reports.
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Proven experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or similar).
- Strong problem-solving skills with a hands-on, practical approach.
- Excellent communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Willingness to travel internationally up to 50–70% of the time.
- Customer-oriented mindset and ability to work independently.
