About the Position

Ingenico, the global leader in payments acceptance solutions, is seeking a motivated Finance Business Analyst Apprentice to join our Central Controlling team based in Valence. This role offers hands-on experience in operational controlling, with a particular focus on R&D activities and project monitoring. You will work closely with Finance and operational stakeholders, including developers, technicians, and project managers, to support financial reporting and project follow-up activities.

Responsibilities

In collaboration with the Central Controlling team, you will contribute to the following activities:

Financial Closing Activities

• Participate in monthly financial closing activities.
• Support financial data management using SAP, Timesheet, and other finance tools.
• Contribute to the monitoring and validation of financial information.

R&D and Project Controlling

• Prepare project reporting in collaboration with operational teams, including developers, technicians, and project managers.
• Support the financial follow-up of R&D activities and projects.
• Participate in the analysis of project-related topics and ad hoc requests from stakeholders.

Budget and Forecast

• Participate in budget and forecast preparation cycles.
• Support the preparation and consolidation of financial data and reporting.

Business Support and Continuous Improvement

• Respond to ad hoc requests from Finance, Controlling, and operational stakeholders.
• Contribute to the improvement of financial processes and reporting tools.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the Finance organization.

Profile

You are currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Controlling, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

Requirements

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft tools.
• Knowledge of SAP is a plus.

Languages

• English level B2 or above.

Personal Skills

• Organized and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong analytical and logical thinking skills.
• Ability to work with various stakeholders from Finance and Operations.
• Autonomous with a strong respect for deadlines.
• Good ability to synthesize information.
• Adaptable and comfortable in a changing environment.
