Finance Data & Migration Support (ERP – Business Central)

About the Position

For our client, a leading global provider of end-to-end software and cloud technology solutions, we are looking for a hands-on Technical Consultant to strengthen the technical backbone of ERP implementations based on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

In this role, you will operate in the “engine room” of the transformation-focusing on data migration, system integration, and technical solution delivery within ERP environments. You will work closely with architects and implementation teams to ensure robust, scalable, and high-quality system landscapes. This is a full-time remote contract role, we preferably seek candidates based in Serbia or Poland.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and support financial data migration into Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (ERP)
• Structure, cleanse, and validate general ledger, subledger (AP/AR), and fixed asset data
• Support data loading activities including journals, opening balances, and master data
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data prior to migration
• Assist in fixed asset setup, migration, and reconciliation
• Support finance teams during data validation and reconciliation cycles
• Identify and resolve data inconsistencies in collaboration with business stakeholders
• Contribute to migration templates, data structures, and validation rules
• Document data preparation steps and reconciliation results

Requirements

Profile:

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Information Systems, or similar
• 3–5 years of experience in finance operations or finance systems
• Strong understanding of GL, AP, AR, and fixed assets
• Experience with ERP systems (Business Central or similar)
• Good understanding of data handling, Excel, and basic SQL is a plus
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on data accuracy and consistency
• Hands-on, structured working style
• Fluent in English; German language skills are a strong plus
