Finance Intern

About the Position

Join Cleeng as a Finance Intern to support our finance team with data entry, transaction recording, and month-end closing processes. Gain hands-on experience in financial analysis and accounting principles.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the month-end closing process by completing or providing necessary documentation.
• Support financial data entry, recording transactions, and maintaining financial records in accounting software.
• Assist in reconciling bank statements, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and other financial accounts to ensure the financial data accuracy and completeness.
• Participate in audits and compliance reviews by providing documentation, conducting research, and assisting with audit preparations.
• Support finance team members in ad-hoc projects, special assignments, and process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Currently pursuing a degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
• Understanding of basic accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Knowledge of financial statements and their components.
• Attention to detail.
• Enthusiasm for learning and willingness to take on new challenges and responsibilities.
• Previous internship experience in finance or accounting is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with financial software systems is a plus.
