About the Position
Binance, a leading global blockchain ecosystem and the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume and registered users, is seeking a Financial Accountant/Manager (CIS) for a 12-month contract based in Astana, Kazakhstan. This role is fully remote and offers an opportunity to shape the future with the world’s leading blockchain ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Perform all postings in the group’s internal accounting system Netsuite (Oracle) for the CIS region
- Submit month-end closing reporting packages in Netsuite for the CIS region within the Group’s deadlines
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of Regulatory Reports for the CIS region
- Ensure compliance and timely submission of all tax reports for the CIS region
- Ensure accurate record-keeping in the 1C system and perform reconciliation with Netsuite for Kazakhstan
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, internal policies, and local legislations
- Liaise with consultants, regulators, banks, and auditors
- Proactively participate in assigned projects
- Contribute to planning and budgeting cycles
- Perform financial and decision support analysis
- Ensure proper reconciliation of all accounts for the region
- Ensure proper and neat archiving of documents
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree with a major in Business Administration, Economics, or related field
- Proficiency in Russian and English languages
- At least 7 years of relevant experience, preferably in the crypto or financial sector
- Experience with Big4 or other accounting firms and an Accounting degree such as DipIFR, ACCA, or CPA is a plus
- Deep knowledge of IFRS and Tax code
- Advanced knowledge of Excel
- Solid knowledge of the 1C system and willingness to learn Oracle
- Team player with excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and strong questioning mindset capabilities
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with key partners
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple projects
