Financial Accounting Specialist

About the Position

The Financial Accounting Specialist is responsible for leading and overseeing the company’s statutory financial operations, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reports. You will provide and manage cash flow, audits, and coordinate with Thai government authorities accordingly. You will be part of Finance Capability Center (FCC) and work to develop and drive continuous process improvement, strong technical accounting expertise, and ability to work effectively in green field manufacturing which is essential for this role.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the operations financial statutory report in delivering accurate and timely financial statements
• Prepare monthly IFRS to TFRS for NPAE GAAP reconciliation
• Coordinating, supervising, and following up on all financial accounting activities
• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports; conduct regular financial and cash flow analysis to support management decision-making
• Monitoring and supervising the company’s cash flow and ensuring adequate liquidity is maintained
• Analyzing sales, collections, and working capital of companies, including AR days for collection and AP days for payment
• Analyzing financial statements and highlighting abnormal transactions, collaborating with FCC to solve and develop permanent solutions
• Coordinating with other department heads to identify and maximize opportunities for business improvement through data insights
• Liaising with auditors, banks, legal advisors, and other third parties on related matters
• Prepare statutory financial statements in accordance with TFRS and get it audited by statutory auditor
• Support in Group audit under IFRS
• Coordinating statutory financial reports with auditors involves preparing accurate financial statements, gathering documentation, and reconciling accounts to meet regulatory requirements
• Handling ad-hoc projects as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• Valid CPD (Continuing Professional Development)
• At least 5 years of experience in full accounting functions, demonstrating strong knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS vs. NPAE) and related functions
• Very good command of written and spoken English
• Proficient in accounting software-ERP, or SAP and Microsoft Office
• Excellent analytical and conceptual thinking
• Ability to prioritize, manage time independently, set objectives and milestones
• Responsibility, detail-oriented, Proactive, and fast learning

Nice to Have

• Experience in Electronic and automotive manufacturing
• Green field manufacturing
• ERP, SAP, MS Office, and AI
