Your role at a glance 🤸♀️
As a Financial Controller, you will take on central responsibility for all financial reporting with a clear business focus. You will collaborate closely with other team members in Finance team and Credit team, as well as drive the development of more efficient work flows. The role involves quality control, actively working to meet new regulatory frameworks, and improving our processes.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the company's monthly closing processes.
- Be a key part of the company's financial reporting under K3 and IFRS.
- Take ownership of the annual report and interim reports.
- Be responsible for the department's regulatory reporting to SCB and the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority (FI).
- Define requirements for the development of accounting processes to increase efficiency and quality.
- Ensure that all reporting is accurate and aligned with group standards and requirements.
- Drive change projects and implementation, as well as handle ad-hoc tasks.
Requirements
- Relevant university degree in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration.
- Solid experience in advanced year-end/monthly closing, financial reporting, and analysis, with at least 5 years of practical experience.
- Deep understanding of accounting according to K3, IFRS, and ÅRKL (the Swedish Annual Accounts Act for Credit Institutions and Securities Companies), with experience from financial companies.
- Analytical mindset with a strong aptitude for problem-solving.
- Comfortable working both independently and in teams.
- Experience with regulatory reporting to SCB and FI.
- Proven track record of driving projects.
