Responsibilities
- Build the financial data backbone of SeQura: Design, build, and maintain the single source of financial truth across P&L, cash flow, balance sheet, and unit economics.
- Build tools, not reports: Use AI, automation, and our data stack to create models, pipelines, and tools that replace manual work and make insights available in real time.
- Proactively find and kill inefficiency: Hunt down slow, manual, or fragile processes and re-engineer them from spotting the issue to shipping the fix.
- Partner with the business: Collaborate through budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, scenario planning, and building systems that make these processes faster and sharper.
- Move to continuous, driver-based planning: Shift to rolling, driver-based forecasts and dynamic scenario analysis, powered by the infrastructure you build.
- Turn data into decisions: Prepare materials for Board, leadership, and investors that turn complex data into clear recommendations and build the tooling that makes producing them near-automatic.
- Raise the bar on the stack: Drive adoption of our finance and analytics tools to improve scalability, reduce manual work, and increase trust in analytics.
- Help build a real-time decision engine: Contribute to a Strategic Finance function that runs on ownership, automation, and analytical rigor.
Requirements
- Genuinely curious and relentless; someone who actively questions existing processes, experiments with new tools (including AI), and has a track record of finding better ways to do things without being asked.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in FP&A, Strategic Finance, or a similarly analytical role in a high-growth fintech, SaaS, lending, or other complex environment.
- Proven ability to build and run driver-based financial models across P&L, cash flow, balance sheet, and unit economics.
- Strong bias for action, with the ability to turn ambiguity into clear structure, decisions, and adopted solutions.
- Systems thinker with strong analytical rigor and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to translate complexity into clear business insight.
- Active use of AI tools in day-to-day work, not just awareness, but genuine integration into how you work.
- Strong Excel and financial systems skills; experience with NetSuite, Abacum, and Embat is a plus.
- Fluent in English; Spanish is a strong plus.
