Financial Reporting & Tax Analyst, Italy

ION Group is seeking a motivated Financial Reporting & Tax Analyst to join the Finance team of Cedacri (ION Group). In this role, you will contribute to the management of accounting and tax activities, ensuring compliance with Italian and international accounting standards, while supporting financial reporting and process improvements within a dynamic and international environment.

Responsibilities
Accounting & Financial Reporting
- Ensure accurate general ledger accounting in compliance with Italian GAAP (OIC) and international standards (IFRS)
- Support the preparation of statutory and consolidated financial statements
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities
Tax Compliance
- Manage periodic tax obligations including VAT, corporate income taxes, and withholding taxes
- Prepare and review tax filings and related documentation
- Monitor changes in tax and accounting regulations and assess their impact on the company
Stakeholder Management
- Coordinate with external consultants, auditors, and tax authorities
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure proper application of tax and accounting rules across business processes
Process Improvement & Systems
- Contribute to the optimization of accounting and tax processes
- Support improvements in ERP systems and financial tools
HR-related Accounting
- Support accounting activities related to HR and payroll processes
Requirements
- Education: Master’s degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
- Experience: 3–5 years of experience in accounting and tax, preferably in structured organizations or consulting firms (e.g., Big4)
- Knowledge:
- Strong knowledge of Italian accounting standards (OIC) and IFRS
- Good understanding of Italian tax regulations
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
- Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
- Collaborative mindset and strong communication skills
- Languages: Fluency in Italian and good knowledge of English
