Financial Specialist

About the Position

We are currently seeking a Financial Specialist for the Subcontractors Operations unit (EU/APAC team) to join our Business Partnering Services (BPS) within EPAM's Global Finance department. This role is pivotal in managing administrative and financial functions related to the relationship between EPAM leadership and EPAM Clients. You will be part of a team of over 300 specialists, contributing to the growth and success of our business.

Responsibilities

• Handling contractors' agreements, invoice verification, contractors' timesheets, and rate cards
• Conducting regular calls with Contractors/Subcontractors, EPAM departments, and project staff
• Entering and managing information in internal EPAM systems, ensuring permanent control
• Participating in the cost accounting process within corporate accounting systems, including month-end closure activities
• Developing and maintaining end-to-end Subcontractors processes and providing consulting throughout their lifecycle in EPAM
• Keeping guides, manuals, and internal instructions up to date
• Providing audit support by supplying requested information

Requirements

• Higher degree in Economics or Finance is mandatory
• Minimum of 1 year of work experience
• Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and multiple uses of formulas
• Excellent analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Understanding of accounting and corporate finance
• Fluency in English (Upper-Intermediate level and higher) with great written and spoken communication skills
• Ability to manage a large volume of information, multitask, and meet deadlines
• Strong goal-setting and achievement abilities, with resistance to stress and high self-control
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
• Capability to manage time effectively in remote work conditions and across different time zones
