Financial Specialist

About the Position

We are currently seeking a Financial Specialist for the Subcontractors Operations unit (EU/APAC team) to enhance our team's capabilities. In this role, you will collaborate with Business Partnering Services (BPS), a part of EPAM's Global Finance department responsible for administrative and financial functions. You will join a team of over 300 specialists to support our business growth.

Responsibilities

• Manage contractors' agreements, invoice verification, contractors' timesheets, and rate cards
• Conduct regular calls with Contractors/Subcontractors, EPAM departments, and project staff
• Input information into internal EPAM systems and maintain control of these systems
• Participate in the cost accounting process in corporate accounting systems; engage in month-end closure activities related to cost recognition, including analysis, report preparation, data analysis, and comments
• Develop end-to-end Subcontractors processes and provide consulting on the Contractors/Subcontractors life cycle within EPAM
• Maintain and update guides, manuals, internal instructions, etc.
• Provide audit support by supplying requested information

Requirements

• Higher degree in Economics or Finance is mandatory
• Minimum of 1 year of work experience
• Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, multiple use of formulas)
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and a high level of accuracy
• Understanding of accounting and corporate finance
• Fluency in English (Upper-Intermediate level and higher)
• Ability to handle a large volume of information, multitasking, and meeting deadlines
• Goal-setting abilities, stress resistance, and high self-control
• Strong communication skills, teamwork, and ability to be part of a friendly team
• Ability to manage time effectively in remote work conditions and different time zones
