About the Position
Financiel Expert 'regio Geel'
As a Financial Expert in the Geel region, you will be the first, personal, and relevant point of contact for clients in our branches. You will have extensive knowledge of banking products, including daily banking, savings products, self-investment, consumer loans, online mortgage intake, and insurance products. No matter the client's question, you will know how to handle it and surprise (future) clients by translating their needs into successful sales solutions.
Many clients prefer the convenience of digital and mobile banking for their daily banking needs. However, sometimes they need personal contact, and that's where you make the difference by choosing the right product.
When clients visit the office, you welcome them with open arms. You make this contact moment add value for both the client and yourself.
- You position yourself as a trusted partner for the client's financial situation and quickly detect their needs.
- With your excellent product knowledge, you offer the best solution for the client's financial request.
- You succeed in convincing clients to choose the fastest, simplest, and safest channel: mobile or digital banking.
- You ensure that customer satisfaction (measured via CSAT/NPS) always remains a priority and help clients in an empathetic manner.
- You proactively detect commercial opportunities. You apply the 360° method and preferably convert these opportunities through digital channels.
- You know exactly when a colleague from another advisory team can better help the client and pass these opportunities according to the correct guidelines and tools.
- You are familiar with the tools ING offers to make customer contacts efficient and digital, such as Iris, Scheduler, Salesforce, etc.
- You live by and act according to our OrangeBehaviours.
Above all, you never rest on your laurels. You are bold and proactively approach clients. You do not hesitate to spontaneously contact clients by phone to invite them for a 360° conversation.
Together with your team, you plan ahead and invite clients to events. During these events, you are the host who ensures personal contact. You are, after all, the face of ING. Our clients leave these meetings with a positive feeling, a product, and more knowledge. They become self-sufficient and know what they can do themselves through our digital channels. You are a Digital Expert, and your enthusiasm and expertise inspire them.
The building blocks of the KPIs are the same for Financial Experts Level I and II: hospitality, digital coaching, expertise, and commercial skills. The ambition levels differ, just as they did previously for the positions that are now evolving into Financial Expert.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- 5+ years of Python development experience
- Strong knowledge of Django/FastAPI
- Experience with PostgreSQL and Redis
