About the Position

Locations: Kansas City, MO, Columbus, OH, Morristown, NJ, Sioux Falls, SD, Bloomington, MN, Brea, CA, Denver, CO, Arlington, VA, Richmond, VA, Honolulu, HI, Baltimore, MD, Fort Worth, TX, Dallas, TX to name a few
Salary Range: Staff FPE: $90,000 to $140,000/yr; Senior FPE: $150,000 to $220,000/yr

Our client, a nationally recognized engineering and construction firm, has openings in several cities for Fire Protection Engineers. They have both Staff and Senior level openings.
Responsibilities
- Be the Leader: Guide a talented team on multi-discipline projects, crafting cutting-edge fire protection systems that save lives.
- Design with Impact: Engineer comprehensive systems-fire suppression, fire alarms, smoke management, and life safety-for diverse and exciting projects.
- Expand Your Horizons: Travel to client sites, shape life safety programs, and be the driving force behind the growth of our fire protection engineering team.
- Own Your Work: From wet-pipe and deluge systems to voice evacuation fire alarms, your designs will make buildings safer and smarter.
- Innovate and Solve: Evaluate building requirements, crunch hydraulic analyses, and bring creative solutions to life.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Fire Protection Engineering (or related field) from an ABET-accredited university.
- Experience: Senior FPE: At least 7 years experience, Staff PE: At least 3 years experience. Less if you have a Masters degree.
- Technical Know-How: AutoCAD, Revit, Excel, Word wizard. Bonus points if you know hydraulic calculation software.
- Problem Solver: Sharp analytical skills and a passion for tackling challenges.
- Licensed Pro: Professional Fire Protection Engineer (P.E.), EIT, or FE. NICET certification is preferred.
- Security Savvy: Ability to gain and maintain access to high-security facilities.
