About the Position

Firmware Engineer – Low power apparaten

Join TMC as a Firmware Engineer for low power devices in Milan, Italy. Develop firmware in C/C++ for microcontrollers.

Responsibilities

• Participate in gathering functional requirements and defining the architecture.
• Design and develop firmware in C/C++.
• Support in defining the system validation strategy.
• Analyze and solve technical problems through in-depth troubleshooting activities, in collaboration with other team members.
• Share technical skills and knowledge with the team.
• Produce technical documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor in Elektronische Ingenieurswetenschappen, Informatica Ingenieurswetenschappen or related disciplines.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in similar roles and good independence in development in C/C++.
• Experience with firmware development on microcontrollers (such as STM32, ESP32, etc.) and the use of associated development and debug tools.
• Knowledge of the main embedded communication protocols, such as I2C, UART, and SPI.
• Knowledge of wireless technologies (Zigbee, LoRa, BLE, etc.).
• Good knowledge of the Italian and English languages.
• Strong motivation for the Employeneurship model of TMC.

We Offer

• A permanent employment contract.
• A gross annual salary (RAL) of at least 35,000 €, in accordance with the National Collective Labor Agreement (CCNL) Trade – Tertiary, Distribution, and Services.
• A competitive compensation package that includes:
  • A component for participation in project profit.
  • An individual annual budget for training and professional development of 4,000 € net.
  • An annual welfare budget.
