About the Position
Atlas NextWave provides tailor-made environmental and stakeholder engagement solutions to the offshore construction, hydrocarbon, and renewable energy industries worldwide. We are currently seeking an experienced Fisheries Liaison Officer (FLO) to support offshore projects and ensure effective communication between project teams and the fishing community.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact between offshore operations and local/regional fishing stakeholders.
- Facilitate clear, transparent communication regarding project activities and schedules.
Requirements
- A minimum of a BSc degree in Fisheries Science, Marine Science, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience working with fishing communities and offshore projects.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and reporting skills.
- Previous offshore or marine project experience is highly desirable.
