We are looking for a Flight Test Operations Coordinator to join our fast-paced, high-energy environment. Responsibilities
As the Flight Test Operations Coordinator, you will ensure all test operations are completed in a timely and safe manner. Your responsibilities will include:
- Gaining a deep understanding of One Way Aerospace’s systems and the ability to troubleshoot them
- Systemizing the testing process (both requests from stakeholders and execution at the facility)
- Understanding the engineering team’s goals and requests
- Prioritizing, then actively re-prioritizing tests based on big picture goals and available resources
- Coordinating a team of flight operators and conducting flight operations testing across multiple shifts
- Working with global operations to ensure new software, hardware, and processes are ready for use in a live, health-critical environment
- Identifying bugs in hardware and software, then documenting, notifying responsible persons, and assisting in troubleshooting
- Approaching technical testing with an operationally-grounded mindset
Requirements
- Positive attitude and love working with a small, close-knit team in a dynamic, sometimes chaotic environment
- Thrive in an autonomous environment where you identify what needs to happen and get it done with very little oversight
- Lead by example and enjoy collaborating with a dedicated team on a common goal
- Oriented towards creative problem-solving in a sometimes unpredictable environment
- Enjoy work that gets you out from behind a desk, in the field, and working with our hardware and software in action
- Enjoy optimizing and fine-tuning processes while running them daily
- Meticulous and process-oriented by nature
- Track record of taking teams to the next level

- Experience with flight systems and testing tools
