Responsibilities

Design and produce floral arrangements, bouquets, tall centerpieces, arches, and installations following the design direction and event briefs.
Execute on-site setups and teardowns for weddings and events across the Bay Area.
Create high-quality floral pieces for retail clients and corporate orders.
Manage flower conditioning, prep, and workspace organization.
Ensure all designs meet Flowers Valley’s elevated quality and aesthetic standards.
Work efficiently and professionally, keeping to timelines in the studio and on the events.
Senior level florists will also manage a team of florists and coordinate with other vendors during event setup and execution.

Requirements

Previous floral design experience is required (3+ years preferred).
Proven ability to execute full floral designs and large-scale installations independently.
Deep knowledge of floral varieties, mechanics, and color composition.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanship.
Reliable transportation and ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
Professional demeanor, punctuality, and team-oriented mindset.
English proficiency for coordination and event communication.

We Offer

Compensation: $25–$40/hour, based on skill and experience.
Flexible opportunities: part-time, contract, or seasonal.
Work location: in-person at our Concord, CA studio and event venues throughout the Bay Area.
