About the Position
Flutter & C++ Freelance Gig
Nigel Frank is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with strong Flutter/Dart experience to join a team building large-scale mobile platform capabilities used by millions of users globally. This is a Contract position based in Helsinki, Finland.
Responsibilities
- Work on scalable platform engineering, SDK integrations, performance, reliability, and building clean cross-platform architectures that operate at very high scale.
- Collaborate across Flutter, native mobile layers, SDK integrations, and platform tooling in a modern engineering environment.
- Focus on quality and long-term maintainability.
Requirements
- Strong commercial experience with Flutter/Dart.
- Experience integrating native mobile functionality across iOS and/or Android.
- Exposure to SDK development or SDK integrations.
- Understanding of scalable mobile architectures and performance optimization.
- Experience with build/release tooling such as Gradle, Xcode, CI/CD pipelines, etc.
- Any exposure to C++, native runtimes, or lower-level platform engineering is highly beneficial.
Nice to Have
- Experience within high-scale consumer product environments.
- Cross-platform/mobile platform engineering background.
- Experience working in complex multi-language systems.
