About the Position

The project includes an established fitness app on a mission to make it easier for people to live a healthier life through a balanced diet based on macronutrient tracking. Our app, which is available on iOS and Android, is used by thousands of people every day and we're growing our team to take our app to the next level.

We are seeking an exceptional full-stack developer to join our team. Your hours and schedule are completely flexible though we are looking for a full-time or part-time involvement. We prefer candidates seeking a steady, long-term working relationship.

Our tech stack is very fun!

• Frontend: Flutter and MeteorJS (node)
• Backend: fastapi (python) and MeteorJS (node)
• Databases: postgresql and mongodb

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain our fitness app
• Collaborate with the team to improve user experience
• Ensure high-quality code and attention to detail

Requirements

• Solid frontend experience developing in Flutter. Please be prepared to share a portfolio of your work.
• Proficiency with GitHub: creating branches, pull requests, and using pull requests for code review.
• Attention to detail when reading ticket specifications and building the product.
• Strong written English. We primarily operate in Slack, Linear, and GitHub. You should feel comfortable asking questions, seeking clarification, and posting updates in our team channels.

Nice to Have

• Solid backend experience developing in at least one of these languages: python, nodejs
• Solid frontend experience developing in at least one of these frameworks: React, React Native
