About the Position
miio is building the electric-mobility app for Portugal: simulate and compare charging prices for your specific car and battery level, find the right plug, and control every session, cost, and consumption in one place. We're one of the first in Portugal to put real price transparency in drivers' hands - and we're growing fast, with 100,000+ monthly active users and over 1M registered.
We're hiring a Flutter Engineer (Mobile) to join our mobile team on-site in Aveiro. The mobile team owns the product our users live in every day. It's a real performance and UX challenge, and the work ships to a large, demanding audience.
Help us build the best EV app in Portugal.
Responsibilities
- Develop the next major version of the miio app, used by 100,000+ active drivers
- Create new features that move the EV market in Portugal forward
Requirements
- 3+ years building production mobile apps, with strong Flutter experience (exceptional portfolios with less experience are still welcome to apply)
- 2+ years of work experience with Flutter
- Solid grounding in design patterns and computer science fundamentals
- Write unit and end-to-end tests as you build
- Curious about and quick to adopt new tools and platforms
- Fluent Portuguese; comfortable working in English (our codebase and technical docs are in English)
- Care about quality and usability - no half-baked features. You want to ship a polished product.
