The F&B Auditor is a techno-commercial role responsible for leading the development of the F&B business, delivery of projects, and ensuring service excellence for clients. You help clients implement, improve, and demonstrate their commitment to international and local standards. This position reports to the Quality Manager.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support the growth of our sales and delivery for a range of services.
- Support the sales team through technical advice and guidance.
- Conduct 3rd party audits for various food safety schemes including Quality Management System.
- Manage the qualifications of other team members in conjunction with Global Compliance Unit, other accredited bodies, and with the Resource and Technical team.
- Proactively seek to identify and understand customer needs and provide leads to the sales team.
- Lead projects, ensuring they are executed to clients’ expectations on time and on budget and to DNV quality standards.
- Lead and communicate effectively with your project teams and clients.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Food Science or Technology or relevant academic qualifications.
- Minimum 10-year experience in Quality Management System relevant to food and beverage, with 3rd-party auditing experience in food safety.
- Minimum 5-year experience in F&B sector, in different food industries.
- Qualifications in schemes like BRC Food, BRC Packaging, IFS, FSSC V5, HACCP, ISO9001, ISO22000:2018, GMP Plus, FAMI-QS, Global Standard, etc.
- Effective communication skills in English and Japanese.
- Proven project and/or team leader, delivering service excellence.
- Ability to work in an international team, delivering and leading teams to produce high-quality deliverables on time and on budget.
- Ability to lead multiple projects in parallel, often with conflicting demands and timelines.
- Willingness to travel and work around Japan and other locations.
- Fluency in Japanese-with advanced competence in reading, writing, speaking-is required.
