About the Position
Forward Deployed Engineer
Location: East Coast, USA
Engagement: Full-time
We're looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer to bridge cutting-edge AI technology with our clients' real-world needs. This isn't a role where you architect from a distance - you'll sit with clients directly, write code, design and deploy AI agent systems, and own the path from a business problem to a working, adopted solution.
Responsibilities
Technical Implementation & Integration
- Lead technical integration of our products into client systems - API integrations, data pipelines, custom workflows
- Build and maintain robust, scalable solutions tailored to client requirements, using Python and related technologies
- Troubleshoot complex issues during implementation, working with internal engineering as needed
Client Engagement & Solution Design
- Act as the primary technical point of contact, understanding client objectives and technical landscape
- Translate client needs into technical specifications and solution designs aligned with product capabilities
- Design and architect AI agent teams - assigning specialized roles and workflows tailored to each client
- Run technical workshops and training sessions to drive product adoption
- Partner with Customer Success and Support to ensure smooth, successful client outcomes
Deployment & Optimization
- Deploy, configure, and optimize multi-agent systems in production environments
- Build and integrate custom agents, tools, and processes using Python and open-source agent libraries
- Monitor deployed solutions for performance and business value, iterating on agent roles and workflows as client needs evolve
Requirements
Must Have
- Proven experience in a customer-facing technical role - Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, or Technical Consultant
- Strong proficiency in Python, with experience in APIs and system integrations
- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts, AI agent frameworks, and LLMs
- Knowledge of workflow orchestration, multi-agent systems, or distributed computing
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Nice to Have
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience building GenAI solutions - design patterns, RAG, SQL/NoSQL databases
- Contributions to open-source AI agent projects or experience with human-in-the-loop systems
