About the Position

Forward Deployed Engineer

Location: East Coast, USA

Engagement: Full-time

We're looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer to bridge cutting-edge AI technology with our clients' real-world needs. This isn't a role where you architect from a distance - you'll sit with clients directly, write code, design and deploy AI agent systems, and own the path from a business problem to a working, adopted solution.

Responsibilities

Technical Implementation & Integration

Lead technical integration of our products into client systems - API integrations, data pipelines, custom workflows
Build and maintain robust, scalable solutions tailored to client requirements, using Python and related technologies
Troubleshoot complex issues during implementation, working with internal engineering as needed

Client Engagement & Solution Design

Act as the primary technical point of contact, understanding client objectives and technical landscape
Translate client needs into technical specifications and solution designs aligned with product capabilities
Design and architect AI agent teams - assigning specialized roles and workflows tailored to each client
Run technical workshops and training sessions to drive product adoption
Partner with Customer Success and Support to ensure smooth, successful client outcomes

Deployment & Optimization

Deploy, configure, and optimize multi-agent systems in production environments
Build and integrate custom agents, tools, and processes using Python and open-source agent libraries
Monitor deployed solutions for performance and business value, iterating on agent roles and workflows as client needs evolve

Requirements

Must Have

Proven experience in a customer-facing technical role - Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, or Technical Consultant
Strong proficiency in Python, with experience in APIs and system integrations
Familiarity with AI/ML concepts, AI agent frameworks, and LLMs
Knowledge of workflow orchestration, multi-agent systems, or distributed computing
Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

Nice to Have

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Experience building GenAI solutions - design patterns, RAG, SQL/NoSQL databases
Contributions to open-source AI agent projects or experience with human-in-the-loop systems
