Role Overview

The Forward Deployed Engineer goes to the heart of a real client issue to transform an intention into an operational and measurable result in just a few weeks. Once the field is understood, they become the reference on which the team relies to ensure the result lasts, in collaboration with the Foundations Architect, the Business Value Advisor, the AI Engineer, and the Data Engineer. The Software Engineer then industrializes these solutions into robust applications, the Data Trust & AI Governance Manager ensures compliance and traceability, and the Service Delivery Manager ensures its long-term maintenance. What they build for a client does not remain unique: they abstract it into a reusable pattern, so that each mission reinforces the next.

What Awaits You

• You intervene at the heart of our clients' issues to deploy artificial intelligence in an operational and measurable way, not just in a framing workshop.
• You onboard the technical and business teams of the client and Keyrus, and become the trusted interlocutor of decision-makers for the duration of the mission.
• You adapt your delivery continuously: listening, adapting, producing, agility, without waiting for a fixed specification to move forward.
• You produce and lay the first works with maximum autonomy, without aiming for absolute expertise in each technical component, then you project them in a sustainable way with the Foundations Architect and technical teams.
• You design and lay the measurement probes of ROI and value created, including inference cost, to demonstrate a result rather than declare it.
• You locate, qualify, and secure access to the data necessary for each use case, in direct connection with the Data Engineer.
• You rely on the Business Value Advisor for the business and sector depth of the subject treated.
• You abstract what works into a reusable pattern, so that a client's solution feeds the platform and benefits the next mission, rather than remaining an isolated deliverable.

What You Bring

The Architect of Intelligence Foundation: essential qualities, present in the criteria below: curiosity, creativity, communication, professional conscience, culture, ability to do.

Experience and Background

• Significant experience working in a demanding client environment, with direct exposure to decision-makers, regardless of your starting point: ESN, software publisher, startup, or final client side DSI or business.
• A track record demonstrating a real ability to transform a complex use case or process into a delivered and measured result, not just presented in a steering committee.
• Proven practice of deploying AI in production, or failing that, a technical delivery with high business stakes and a high level of uncertainty.

Attitude and Mindset

• Natural ease in client interface: this role assumes being exposed and judged on the result continuously, and remaining comfortable under this pressure, which is not given to everyone.
• Real curiosity for the client's business, not just the technology: the desire to understand the stakes before proposing a solution.
• Ability to move forward without complete specifications, to decide quickly, and to adapt continuously, without waiting for validation at each stage.
• Autonomy and a true entrepreneurial spirit: you build your mission, it is not entirely drawn for you.
• Product reflex: faced with a working solution, your first instinct is to ask what, in what you have just built, can serve the next mission.
• Ability to produce, document, and transmit what you set up, so that the mission lasts beyond your presence on the ground.

Essential Technical and Functional Skills

• End-to-end understanding of an AI value chain, from data to deployed agent, without necessarily being the executor of each component.
• Ability to abstract a client solution into a reusable pattern or product brick, according to a land → expand → abstract logic, rather than delivering disposable custom work.
• Comparative knowledge of the main models and providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, Mistral, Google Gemini, etc.), sufficient to guide client choices.
• Ability to dialogue technically with the Foundations Architect and the AI Engineer, and to translate the stakes for the Business Value Advisor and the client.
• Mastery of value and ROI measurement, including inference cost (FinOps AI).
• Production, documentation, and transmission of mission deliverables, so that they remain exploitable beyond your presence.
• Professional fluent English, both written and spoken: essential, regardless of your level of experience.
